iSAC is an online service for citizens in municipalities in the European Union. Through the iSAC platform, citizens can get answers to questions relating to public services. For public authorities, as well as channeling questions and requests from citizens, iSAC also offers feedback on citizens' needs, and effectively links front and back offices.
iSAC6+ is a project based on the iSAC platform, which was developed to meet the needs of the 200,000 inhabitants of Terrassa, Spain, which is an industrial area of Barcelona. iSAC is now used by more than 20 cities, and through the iSAC6+ project will be deployed further. iSAC6+ receives funding from the European Union. The project runs until December 2012.
e-Forum's role in the project is to support Formez, the partner in charge of dissemination. e-Forum is in charge of organising workshops to help the transfer of the iSAC solution to new pilot sites. e-Forum is also in charge of dissemination and marketing activities among potential financial partners or investors.
